Make room for people’s questions.

The creative conversation

Plan the message before the enrollment rush.

Your plans, states and enrollment timing shape the campaign. We work through those details before writing a script, so your message gives callers an appropriate next step to speak with a licensed agent.

  • On air since 1984

    Radio, TV, OTT & social

  • Tested commercials

Adapted to your offer, or made new

  • Calls direct to you

    Your line, your response—never resold

  • You approve everything

    Spots and markets, before airing

We discuss timing and agent availability as part of the media plan. Your compliance team reviews the script and required disclosures before production; the campaign should reflect your approved offer, not a generic Medicare pitch.

Your audience

Start with the need. Build the reach around it.

Medicare advertising is not just an age-in campaign. Depending on the plans you represent and applicable rules, the message may address existing members, people newly eligible or those eligible through disability or other qualifying circumstances. Your licensed and compliance teams define the appropriate audience and enrollment conditions.

  • People approaching Medicare eligibility
  • Current members comparing plan options
  • People eligible through disability or other qualifying circumstances
  • Family members helping with plan questions

Shaping your campaign

Build around the plan conversation—not a birthday alone.

Different Medicare audiences have different questions. We work with your team on the plans, markets, language and enrollment conditions the creative can responsibly address.

Separate the plan offers

Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement require their own explanations. We keep the advertised offer specific and use your approved plan details and disclosures rather than a generic benefits pitch.

Match the message to the moment

Someone entering Medicare and a current member comparing options may need different information. We discuss campaign timing with your team, including enrollment periods and applicable eligibility conditions.

Prepare for the agent conversation

The next step should accurately describe who the caller will speak with and what the team can discuss. English and Spanish production and scheduling are planned around your licensed coverage and approvals.

Campaign fit

What we work through with your team

For Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement carriers, agencies and call centers, the details of the business shape the advertising. These are the decisions we make together before production and airtime.

  • Represented plans, approved markets and required disclosures.
  • Appropriate eligibility and enrollment wording reviewed by your compliance team.
  • Licensed agent capacity and English or Spanish call handling.

Measurement

What we learn once the campaign is on air

A ringing phone is only the beginning. We agree on what to track and review your team's feedback, so the next creative and scheduling decisions reflect the conversations the advertising starts.

  • Plan inquiries by market, message and agreed campaign timing.
  • Connections to the appropriate licensed team and repeated caller questions.
  • Enrollment-related outcomes your team can appropriately share for campaign review.

From the first conversation to the first airing.

  • Get the plan details right

We discuss the plans you represent, your states, enrollment timing and the capacity of your licensed team.

  • Develop approved creative

We build the script and production around your approved offer and disclosures, with compliance review before airing.

  • Prepare the schedule

We plan airtime for the agreed markets and dates, then review response with your team before adjusting the campaign.

Local campaign brief

Medicare Insurance: rules & timing.

Sources reviewed · United States Medicare Advantage and Part D marketing standards; state insurance rules also apply.

Medicare campaigns should distinguish Medicare Advantage, Part D and Medicare Supplement offers. Commercials identify the advertiser and connect interested people with its licensed team; benefit wording and disclosures need current plan and compliance approval.

Local requirements, timing & sources

Local requirements

Use current CMS marketing guidance and applicable TPMO disclosures, not a generic or older disclaimer. CMS's Contract Year 2027 communications updates apply to marketing materials beginning October 1, 2026. Confirm plan availability, producer licensing and service area before choosing local placement; Medicare rules do not cover every product marketed to seniors in the same way.

When to plan

Medicare Open Enrollment runs October 15–December 7 each year for changes to health and drug coverage for the following year. This is not a universal enrollment window for all insurance or for every Medicare situation. Plan approval, staffed answering hours and the caller's eligibility determine the campaign and response process.

General campaign-planning information, not legal, medical, tax or investment advice. State examples do not apply nationwide. Your compliance team should confirm current requirements before airing.

Medicare Insurance — plain-text brief

A note on compliance: Your compliance team is responsible for approving plan details, claims and required disclosures under applicable Medicare marketing rules before airing. Airtime Media provides advertising services, not insurance advice or enrollment.
